Are you using some no name brand graphics card or something? My AMD graphics card has had up-to-date drivers since developer preview and my laptop’s graphics drivers were available during consumer preview.

Minecraft runs on Windows 8 just fine–as it does on both of my Windows 8 machines. Windows 8 supports legacy applications, so even if Notch decides not to support Windows 8 officially (not “legally” as you claim), Minecraft will work just fine. Additionally, Minecraft is a Java-based program, which means it should run without incident anyway. Also, drivers have nothing to do with mods on Minecraft.

in 1.4.7 if you type in monkeyfarm in seed generator there is a giant lavene at x -45.4647 y 64.000 it would be awesome if your next world was in a seed called monkeyfarm!

Guys, you don’t need to put pipes connecting to the furnace from the pulverizer. you can put them right next to or under by making the output the bottom or right.
