Monkey, JL has a neat but expensive solution to the ice farm. If you haven’t already seen his sheep farm design, he uses powered rails all the way along and has a circuit which has them on for three ticks and off for one tick, which makes the minecart run consistently but slower, enough so that you can destroy and pick up blocks.

hey \monkeyfarm im playing in the same world as you on my computer and I have discovered 2-3 spider spawners and a zombie spawner, all relatively
close to your base was wondering if you would like the quadrants to all of them , was thinking you could use them for something

Ok the whole thing with textures and some animations is you have to go into the animation. Folder in the updated texture pack and just drag and drop all the files from your old pack and it will work because the changes toy have done in the terrain.png won’t do anything if the animations are overriding it
