My biggest tip I can give you is don’t give up. Creating an entire game alone is a big task and it will take a while. There will be some points that you would want to just stop and there will be lengthy periods that you won’t work on the game. You should take a look at some other indie games and get inspiration from them, Maybe watch indie game the movie and you will get right back to work! Giving up is what kills a game.
