You can’t download every minecraft client and server version with those. So this is nessesary if you want to downgrade.

I watched a video on the history of Minecraft and its different version…. why would anyone want to go backwards? … I mean I really don’t see a point to it… they haven’t really removed anything, and they’re constantly adding stuff… I mean theres a few changes, but theres easy work arounds… so why would anyone want to go back? I don’t see the point.
