randomly selected “class”/”profession”, which grants some advantage. No two
players on the same team can have the same class, but not all classes need
to necessarily be chosen. Some possible examples of these classes and their
associated bonuses:

Scout
– Can enter spectator mode any time
– Can only leave spectator mode when at least 100 blocks from nearest player

Witch
– Receive a random harmful splash potion every minute

Pyro
– Immune to fire/lava damage

Archer
– “Infinity” enchantment always in effect

Miner
– Can prospect. Right clicking a block with a pickaxe will tell if there is
ore (and what kind) within 10 blocks of the block clicked

Herobrine
– Get one free notch apple at the beginning of the game

Merfolk
– Can breathe underwater
– “Depth Strider” enchantment always in effect

Summoner
– Start with three wither skulls and four soul sand

Jockey
– Start with a saddle and diamond horse armor

Enchanter
– Unlimited experience

Farmer
– Planted seeds, potatoes, carrots, and nether wart automatically grow

Traceur (Parkourer)
– No fall damage
