Tinkers Construct clearly says it will not support 1.7.2. How can these
guys be using it if it refuses to exist?

xisuma dont be dumb and use manylium in your tools. cobalt is way better
since it mines faster. the only block you cant mine with it is manylium and
thats not a natural block. cobalt mines faster so its really worth it.
you can use manylium on weapons.
you dont have industrial craft on the modpack right? if you do use a
battery and a circuit on your tools so they use energy and not dureability

Why are you making the pickaxe out of manyullyn!? You have cobalt , which
has the best mining speed in the mod! And you just made a pick out of it!
Manyullyn has the hughest attack damage. You should have read your books.

50 redstone (Speed/Haste) 1 modifier.
Nether Star adds a modifier.
Gold block + diamond adds a modifier.
Lapis is luck, similar to fortune.

Xisuma! I loved the episode. If you read this, I would like to recommend
the Youtuber “direwolf20″. He is a modded legend, and you probably watch
him already. He has done many mod spotlights, in addition to his
playthroughs; so just watch some of those, to learn some stuff about mods.
:)

Also, that is not the best pick! Cobalt on it’s own is faster than
Manullyn, and pretty durable. I would recommend Thaumium Tool Rod and paper
Binding, with a Cobalt head. If you have Mariculture, Titanium is better.
If you have ExtraTIC, Platinum is fastest, but brittle, and Tartarite is
the most durable, and my favorite material. It is also faster than Cobalt.
I also prefer silky, but that is preference.

Also, the Diamond is worthless – just use a Flux capacitor. For a mid-tier
pick, I use an Ardite head netherrack Binding and Obsidian Rod with Moss.

For low tier, I use Thaumium / Bronze with a stone / netherrack / paper
Binding and a stick. I then just mine 10 obsidian and a few extra, get
ardite and go to the nether.

For first night tier, I use flint with a stone Tool Binding and a stick,
with no upgrades.
