Why dont you do */gamerule randomTickSpeed 128*? It will make plants grow
faster and leaves decay faster without really changing the gameplay much.

Xisuma, I know you already know this but just correcting your mistake. in
the video you mentioned that making a snow tray would be more efficient
than a simple snow golem farm and you were completely wrong… a farm is
much faster, and it is basically afk-able.

Also, never waste a diamond shovel on snow, it can be insta-mined with
stone.

Xisuma I have an idea for a myth busting episode:
Are dark oak trees farm-able? I tried to farm them but I couldn’t even grow
the old trees back. Maybe a bug in 1.8?

I really like the natural feel to your base now – good job! A nice detail I
sometimes do is place some dark green carpets in areas – it adds that
slight contrast to the grass on the floor as well as some varied ground
levels :-)
