@turbotonic27 I’ve seen that too. The fire animation stays there but the fire has already been put out. You can usually fix this by relogging. Or maybe your server is using an anti-fire-greif mod, to prevent people from greifing.

Put hoppers at the bottom of the Wishing Well. SimplySarc has an awesome video showing how you can suck items into a hopper even if there is a block on top. :]

The wishing well should have one of the new pressure plates in it, so after throwing in an item, for example a firework would shoot out.
