It should be pointed out that in the video Trinanitas mentioned, he did say you had to constantly aggro the Wither. So afking might be why it didn’t work for you. :)

you can think about reversing the pattern of bricks and nether bricks – though you lose the half slab floor i suppose

and most likely the fix wont apply to already placed slabs/stairs you will need to replace them i am guessing.

and last idea to share – you can put glass under the lava that is behind the walls on the level above, at least calculate where it would show, maybe the random lighting would be nice
