You can see where the intruders are at your system icons at the bottom
left. There is a little fist on top and the system is slowly breaking down.

@xisumavoid I ran into one ship late in the game. We both had lv 4 shields
and no rockets. So the battle lasted for 20, I finally won and ended up
getting a guy and all of abilities were yellow. :P I think the longer the
fight the better loot you get.

Dodge and evasion are basically the same thing. Things like engine
upgrades, engine crew skill, pilot crew skill, having cloaking active,
contribute to your total evasion “score”. Upgrading the piloting system
lets you use a percentage of your total evasion even if the station is
unmanned, but doesn’t add any extra evasion in itself.

I’m not sure if i’m being of any help to clarify this or if i’m just making
it seem more complicated than it really is.

If you kill all the crew on the flagship, the AI takes over and it’s kind
of like fighting an auto-scout
