Jc the most cheap way Is the best way for a good setup is 4 gold 2 red stone 4 iron 2 pistons and 7 glass a stirring engine with gold pipe an 1 wooden pipe you put both pipe in a crafting table and 1 red stone each and then hook the wood one to the stirring engine and the gold pipe will go to a cheap item called a pulverizer and then you put coal in the engine and appl a red stone signal to it and add coal and it will make MJ the it will power it will make dust and then smelt the dust to get in

copper spawns above y 35 but it is smart to go mine it on y 40 to y 50 you will find a lot more
