actually consider the player character to be the bad guy. He comes all
alone to a planet and starts polluting the place and destroying the
environment for nothing more then self enrichment. There is no reason for
the player character to do any of the things X is doing as ultimately he is
alone and would be in just as bad of a situation if he were to live in a
cave.

These creatures are just trying to protect their living environment and
planet in general, as they only attack when the player is polluting so they
can be portrait as the good guys. I consider this to be really good story
and world design!

it on the biter bases after destroying them… it prevents them from
respawning their base because they think you have built something over it
will make it so when you do push out you keep them pushed for good
