+EthosLab Cannons are super broken so if u record this again…I think if

Good way to deal with cannon is to rush, indeed. During the trip be sure to
call all your pirates to the edge of the ship so they don’t take any time
rushing out, otherwise they may still fire the cannons after you get there
and hit your pirates (and theirs) and throw everyone overboard. You must
reach their boat before they load the cannons.

You may also want, just to be safe, to have a ship with a row (or double
row) of hull blocks shielding the bottom of the ship (like their ships
have), so the bombs don’t hit the bottom of the ship immediately. It
usually takes two bombs hitting the bottom to sink it.

This makes me wonder if cannon fights are viable in this version of the
game, at all. Maybe later if they implement stronger hulls, but now I don’t
think you benefit from having your own cannons.
