I agree with you about the sickness stuff. When I was younger I only took a shower like only every two or three days and wash my hands only occasionally, because I didn’t feel the urge to do so. But at that time I remember being sick quite a lot. Nowadays, I shower every morning, sometimes in the evening too, when it was hot outside and I wash my hands quite often (maybe too often). Since this has become a habit, I wasn’t sick in a long time. Probably for 2 years now or so.
