Make part of your house in the water since you have the depth strider
boots. Make a cool entrance with an underwater path that can like go into
the riverbed and go deeper underground.

Make a mushroom forest, and have each have its own little room and purpose;
then make bridges going across them.

Basically a jungle village, except that the trees are huge mushrooms, and
that the rooms are on the inside and not built around the stem.

If anyone agrees, thumbs this up and leave a comment, that way it’ll get to
the top so he can see it easier; but only if you want to. I’m not forcing
