You could use that drawbridge to make automatic walls, if you know someone
is coming for you. Or make a maze, or a bunch of pillars to strafe through.
So cool.
Drawbridge is amazing, I need this pack! :D

What version is this modpack for?

Oh man, Blazes would be awesome for defense.

Please Etho, consider building a huge futuristic underground base. It would
be amazing watching you implement as many defensive mechanisms as you can
aswell as watch you build in a style you haven’t done before using all the
new mods.

hey etho ever heard of choassilencer ? hi is so stupid hi was playing ftb
as wel and hi found a bee hive and when you had a scoop in his hot bar hi
stil tried to juse a iron sword……..and hi was going mining and hi mined
it and didint pick it up becuase hi throught it would just fly to him or
some thing…..hate him its so irateting to watch that guy but not you!
your as least smart and know stuf and your just a redstone god and love
your voice

It would be cool to see you get into Ars Magica 2 :) it’s a pretty fun mod
with some unique PVP capabilities.

2 recommendations, first if you use a diamond and gold block you can add
another effect to your pick, id recommend and emerald for double
durability, and second invest in a rapier, they attack faster but deal less
damage, however, they ignore armor, very effective against mobs in iron or
better armor or in theory other players, very very effective

Etho when making tools, use slime rods instead of anything else. They add
the mowtbdurability

Etho, you have the right idea with that pick… Cobalt speed over Manyullyn
durability. As an idea, how about you try out the hammer? Make yourself a
cheap hammer (Netherack or something) and go try it out on some stone and
see what you think… if you like it, you can commit some more valuable
materials to a good one.
