Dear etho,
this game has changed a lot. You now have sanity, you will have to make a
flowerhat out of 12 flowers (petals), otherwise you will see those shadows
and they will then kill you (you will also need that flowerhat to jump in a
wormhole, your sanity will drop when you jump in a wormhole). Secondly i
would recommend you playing with more food (just go to edit world and set
carrots and berrie bushes to more or lots), I did this at the start and it
really helped me at the start, and because of thay I didn’t die in the
first 10 days and I coudl really enjoy the game.
I really enjoy playing this game and I hope you will bring out atleast a
few more episodes of this game, just the way you did with the older version
of this game.

Have fun and I hope seeing a few more episodes!

This is great, I was really hoping you for you and Zisteau to do this but
Doc is just as good. The game has changed a lot since your last play
through. Eat at night, so you spend your days gathering then cook and eat
at night. I think when the other player dies they drop a telltale heart and
you can use that to revive each other. However, I suspect it burned up
when Doc died and… well… the whole world burned. :D

– Watch out for I think it’s either day 6 or 12 when the hounds come.
They have managed to do me in DST pretty much every time on that first
wave. You should be able to deal with them by drawing them into another
mob like Beefalo, Bees or Spiders but in this edition it seems much harder
to do.

-I think every world seed is similar. Every time I’ve done it there is a
cluster of rabbit holes and that seems to be the key to surviving the first
couple of nights. Don’t bother digging up berry bushes as that’s renewable
food at least not until later in the game. Dig up the tree stumps for an
extra log though

-The portal provides light so in a pinch you can go to it when it gets
dark. It’s really limited but a good desperation move.

-The shadows attacked you because of your sanity as your sanity drops they
get to be tangible. Worm holes chew up your sanity so that’s why yours
dropped so fast.

-Willow is a good character to have in multiplayer. She can keep scouting
at night by walking around with her lighter and you really need to do that
to find some good stuff early on.

-You need gold for that science machine, stones for both science machine
and your fire circle so that should be a priority along with trying to find
Beefalo or Pigmen to get manure (you feed pigmen any non-meat and they
poop).

Keep on trying and I hope you guys have better luck next time!

Etho, Docs ghost made you go insane, Its annoying as hell, being in dark
causes it aswell, when it gets less than 15 i think, the shadows can kill
you, also, seeing somebody dies / friend also makes you go more mental.

It should now be called, don’t Starve or go insane as insanity is harder
than food sometimes.

Etho, Picking flowers recovers sanity, and eating petals replenishes food
by 1 and HEALS YOU. The last time I checked theres no natural regeneration.

Like this so he can see it.

Etho before you eat the petals, seeds and Berries you should cook them
first. Also the reason That Doc can make the shovels is because he was a
librarian which means he has all recipes unlocked.

Etho try not to chop trees at night u could awake the giant tree beast. But
if u do awake the giant tree beast plant a tree in front of Him he will go
back in to a tree
