Believe me when I tell you – running a quarry on combustion engines is an unsafe and annoying process because you have to apply constant cooling and fuel to the engines. If you don’t, the engines will run out of cooling and shortly after, it’ll explode.
Rather, run the quarry by using your geothermal generator, and if that’s not enough, make another generator. Keep stores of lava in numerous separate tanks. Join the quarry with the generator via an energy link. It’s a lot safer :)

Oh, and before I forget, (this is in relation to my other comment about the quarry) make sure you make your quarry big. There’s bound to be lava below your quarrying parameters, and the quarry won’t mine through lava. So, make sure you place the quarry above water, so that any lava will be hardened into cobble or obsidian.

There is no EE on the server. (They wanted to be able to upgrade to 1.3 and EE2 will not be ported)
