I’m a big fan Paul, but I have to say, I’m massively disappointed with your KOS policy. If you’re running into trouble in the big cities, go somewhere else…I’m happy to say I’ve never fired a shot at another player, and survived for weeks. And what’s with running everywhere? No wonder you’re getting aggro.

Ok, so it took me a while to figure out what KOS meant (Kill On Sight) but i figure Paul of all people I subscribe to would not be the type to KOS. When I first started playing this game the main thing that intrigued me about it was the potential it had to have interesting intense situations with people that you meet within and the various interactions that could arise from those situations. A KOS attitude retracts from this potential and makes the game just another free for all shooter…

And please don’t think of people who KOS as bad people. The bad people are bandits who, rather play a zombie survival, like to go around and piss people off by killing them when they are looting. It’s because of all those people who did that, that the game became more of a PvP then survival. That’s why I want a SP version. No loosing hours and hours of work from one bullet delivered by a bandit sitting for hours watching an airfield just to kill people to make them upset. =(

Why do you think I said it’s sad to do. Sometimes its better not to. I am in a group of 4 with a Huey now because I didn’t but 95% of the time you don’t, you get killed. Because of all the people who find it fun to massacre new players, it’s almost a new general rule of thumb. I’ve been killed within the first 5 minutes of starting at least 20 times now by players. Like I said, DayZ has become a 225kmx225km deathmatch with some zombies. Sorry for encouraging it, I hate to do it. =/

Stop encouragin people to Shoot on sight because it’s stupid. I came across a pretty big group yesterday and they helped me out a ton (found me good weapons and a ghillie suit).
