He used iron blocks but that’s could be any solid block. And repeater timer are not logoutproof as X said in this video.

You can do that with a command block and daylight sensor. That is more compact but this is good too.

But… Once you get the zombie into position, it wont despawn so its not really a problem… As for mobs pushing against water. The water is fairly small in the current so I highly doubt that will ever happen :P

Oh wow, I almost thought you couldnt do this, I guess hoppers are good for full automation, the last thing thats left is a fully auto wheat farm…
Also, that item elevator was JL’s design right? I recall seeing that on one of his videos.
