To let only 1 creeper in you could put a preesure plate on the cobble block they stand on before they launch and that makes a piston behind them go up so no more creepers can get in. BTW it needs to be a sticky piston or the creepers can jump over it or even escape.

you could use glass blocks instead of panes, so the creepers stand in the middle
